After our adventure in Jackson Hole, we headed up to the Grand Tetons. Unbeknown to us, we camped near the foot of a tree with a Horned Owl nest. When we woke up, there were many very excited people with very expensive cameras. Fortunately, they were also quite kind and helped us see what was going on.

After packing up camp, we headed to the Chapel of Transfiguration. It may be due to my upbringing and great memories from
the Chapel on Echo Bay, but I just have a huge heart for chapels. They are cute, gorgeous, and the views that often show from the altar and the front are completely awe-inspiring. As someone whose primary form of spiritual and emotional refreshment comes from the wilderness, being in a safe location that shows the wilderness and is close enough that I can go on a run and be in an amazing place in no time is almost utopia. Check out this view!
After we left the amazing chapel, we headed to Jenny Lake and took a boat ride! The shuttle took us across the lake to this gorgeous place that had Hidden Falls, Inspiration Point, and a great hike up the canyon.
Notice that this boat has one of the most efficient motors ever!
