Hello! My last post wrote of the ridiculous rain we were having... after a crazy thunder, lightening, wind, hail, and storm, we decided we had had enough of this and we fled to my aunt Nancy's house in Littleton. She was kind enough to take us in a day earlier than we had planned, and we had a great time hanging out.

She took us on a roadtrip through the two gorgeous canyons nearby. The canyon on our left is Clear Creek Canyon. It's gorgeous! Our tour also included a hike around a pretty lake and visiting some cool small towns. Some of our adventures are pictured below...
After leaving Nancy's fabulous hospitality, we headed East through Wyoming. Another post vents about the lack of life in Wyoming (it's the 6th (?) largest state with the 50th largest population...).

But to be specific... we went to Cheyenne, the capital, and they had NO coffee shops! Well, we found one, in a hotel, with not very tasty drinks, but seriously, Wyoming!
It's saving grace was the free horse-drawn carriage rides (which we just missed) and the gorgeous night and sunset.
And a great amount of irony
AND... Safety signs... everywhere
Evidently, texting is a big problem here.
