Hi all!
I´ve only been here for a week and have fallen in love with the people. And now, we´re having some major rains and there are lots of landslides and floods (we´re in one of the only statelike things that isn´t experiencing that on a major level so we´re safe... i promise!). Please pray for the families of the people who have been lost and for the recovery efforts of the people who are missing as well as the rebuilding of roads so families can be reunited. Also, that the expected rain comes in smaller quantities. The ground here is pretty much as saturated as can be and can´t really handle too much more rain.

Thanks for letting us know that you are safe! I had heard about the mudslides on the news and the Mother Worry Disease hit in full force.
